"Feel Good Short Film" of the Amazing Stoner Festival
Winner of the "Fell Good Film" award
My first visit to Thailand was honored with the award for "Feel Good Stoner Award" at the "banned film" theatre of the "Cinema Oasis" Considering my film was framed by documentaries about gross corruption amongst the Myanmar monks and stories of Thai Soldiers disappearing after speaking out of turn, it's easy to see why film would be considered a good pick me up...
Still this was hands down one of the most accommodating festival's i've attended: lots of food provided, and hotel room all expense paid! Special thanks to Alice Skinhead for all her encouragement, and for placing my flower laurel with Ganesh in her turtle garden.
